The Executive Chairman of Nsit Ibom Local Government, Rt. Hon. Eric Akpan has been applauded for his fatherly and friendly disposition towards the welfare of workers in the Local Government. The commendation came during the monthly Solemn Assembly after the Head of Local Government Service, Mrs. Jenny Inyang informed staff of the welfare package approved for committed and consistent staff.
The Head of service in her remarks reiterated the theme of the month “Consider Your Ways” and urged staff to live above board in all their dealings and maintain their integrity as an intangible asset that all must possess in and out of service.
Nsit Ibom HOLS Celebrates September-born Staff
The solemn assembly which is a monthly gathering of staff to praise and worship God for his benevolence also featured prayers, birthday celebrations, and thanksgiving for the September-born staff, as well as a health talk by the director of health on the importance of birth registration.
Present at the meeting was the Council secretary, Mr. Eno Udonsek, Director for Administration; Mrs. Idorenyin Nyong, Director of Finance; Mrs. Uduak Etuk, Director of Works, Engr. Mrs. Ime Essien, Director of Agriculture Mr. Francis Ekong, Director of SDEISC; Mrs. Emem Asuquo, Asst. Director of Administration, Mr. Charles Akakam, Chairman of Nulge, Comrade Isaiah Uko, Nulge executives, Heads of Units, and Staff.
