A group of online entrepreneurs un der the aegis of KAISO Entrepreneurs has donated assorted food items and toiletries to children of Ndipmonguwem Orphanage, IBB Avenue, Uyo. Addressing the inmates of the home which is managed by the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare, the president of the group, Queen Phidelia Ekanem, appreciated God for sustaining the lives of the children whom she said were special gifts gathered and preserved by God for His purposes. Ekanem said the group which is also known as On-line LEGIT Business Opportunities (OLEBO) was touched by the plight of the children and circumstance which had conditioned their being raised at the centre, stressing that Christ came to the world and brought succour and hope. The Christmas and new year season should be devoted wholly to acts of love, care and support as illustrated by the visit of KAISO Entrepreneurs with the token to identify with them. The president of the group commended the state government for the assistance given to the orphans and charged the caregivers to play their role as custodians that would render account of stewardship to God. She said KAISO Entrepreneurs is a group of young, talented and resourceful online entrepreneurs who are dedicated to the training of people in various skills. Ekanem stated that KAISO was envisaging a robust collaboration with relevant departments of government for micro credit support, training and business opportunities to alleviate poverty in the state. She noted that the Dakkada philosophy of Governor Udom Emmanuel was supposed to ginger all Akwa Ibom people to think out of the box and make positive moves to conquer the plague of poverty in the state. Ekanem called on young entrepreneurs to key into the vision of the group to develop skills for self-reliance. Responding, the matron of the facility thanked the group for the visit and urged other groups to emulate the gesture to give hope to the children.
