Archbishop Ebong Williams King Celebrates 2021 Birthday With Kith, Kin

I t was a joyful moment in Ikot Obio Akpan Village, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area when Arch-Bishop Ebong Williams King visited the village to celebrate his 61st birthday with his kiths and kins. While welcoming the primate of Zion, the Ikot Obio Akpan Village Council chairman, Mr. Edem A. Akwa, saluted the ArchBishop for his decision to visit the village on his birthday January 6, 2021, and for his efforts in contributing to the development of the village. In his remarks, the cleric noted that he was in the village to celebrate his 61st birthday with his people and to empower widows whose names were earlier sent to him by the Village Council. He used the occasion to thank God for the gift of life granted him and charged youths and indeed all villagers not to relent in trusting God for victorious accomplishments. A total of 30 widows smiled home with N20,000 business support, each, in addition to gift items worth thousands of naira. Speaking on-behalf of the widows, Mrs Iniobong Okon Akpan-Nsoh thanked the Arch-Bishop and his partners for putting smiles on their faces and prayed God to bless and replenish them. Prayers were offered for the widows, village, local government area and the state, at the event that was well attended by members of the Village Council, youths and women groups. Shortly after the event, the Owerri-based ArchBishop made a stopover at Eduwem Clinic, Ntan Akpan Udom in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area to greet the president-general of Ibiono Ibom Welfare and Development Union (IWADU), Dr Effiong Inyang, before returning to his base. Inyang, while receiving the Primate of Zion in his office, thanked him for his wisdom in committing his time and resources to the development of his community and prayed God to bless him abundantly and also grant him journey mercies back to Owerri.
