The Wife of the Executive Chairman, Abak Local Government Area, Obonganwan Mrs. Iniobong Ekerette Inyang, Friday, 10th September, 2021, feted the first woman in Midim Community to birth a set of triplets.
Mrs. Iniobong Inyang while presenting gifts items to Mr/Mrs. Ubon Effiong-Urom, parents of the triplets, described the development as divine and expressed immense gratitude to God for granting the mother a safe delivery of the babies.
According to the Abak first lady, the visit/gesture was in line with the policy of FEYReP a pet project of HE Dr. (Mrs.) Martha Udom Emmanuel, whose aim is to improve the living standard of families in Akwa Ibom state through economic empowerment.
She thanked HE, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, for her life-enhancing FEYReP Pet project which has empowered and strengthened many families across the State. She prayed God to bless the babies and to grant the family the enablement to raise them in the fear of God.
According to Mrs. Ekom Effiong-Urom, Mother of the triplets, Abasi-ofon, Abasi-ama, and Abasi-anwam “I was not shocked when I heard that the Wife of the Chairman was coming to visit us, she is a kind hearted and generous woman”…
“Abak local government area is indeed blessed this time to have a first lady with a heart of gold, I know God will bless and repay the first lady’s kindness towards my family” she prayed.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the pioneer Councillor of the Ward, Obong Hon. Saviour Hanson commended the wife of the Executive Chairman of Abak Mrs. Iniobong Inyang for her charitable act towards the family, and lauded the proactive leadership of Rt. Hon. Pst. Ekerette Inyang especially in the area of human capital development and infrastructural resurgence.
He prayed God’s blessings on the Chairman and his family and the grace to continue to do more for the people of Abak.
Highpoint of the visit were; the presentation of Cash and gifts items to the family by the Abak First Lady, and prayers for the wonderful triplets.
