The April edition of the fitness walk organized by the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees( NULGE), Akwa Ibom State has received a boost from the Executive Chairman, Uruan Local Government Council, Hon. (Surv) Iniobong Ekpenyong.
The Chairman who joined members of NULGE in Uyo Senatorial District during the April Edition of the fitness walk at unity Park, Uyo on Saturday 17 April 2021 applauded the leadership of NULGE Akwa Ibom State for organizing the monthly fitness walk. He stressed that exercise stimulates a sound mind and a healthy lifestyle.
Hon. Ekpenyong made history as the first Local Government Chairman in the state to have joined the NULGE fitness walk since the First Edition commenced on 20th February 2021 at Eket Senatorial District.
NULGE fitness walk hashtagged “fitnesstoservebetter” is a monthly exercise organized by the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Akwa Ibom State Chapter under the leadership of Comrade Anestina Jeremiah Iweh
The fitness walk is rotated among the three senatorial districts in the state.
