PIPMINDS CEO CELEBRATES 44 BIRTHDAY , DONATES HOUSE AND BOREHOLE

Commissioning of 2 bedrooms apartment by the Leader of the 7th Uruan Legislative Council, Hon Sunday Bassey flanked by the CEO of Pipminds International Limited Mr Emem Alban, the Widow Mrs Agatha Etim Okon and the Councillor South 1 Hon Kingsley Idiongette

In practical demonstration of goodwill, compassion and benevolence to the downtrodden in the society, the CEO of Pipminds International Limited, Mr Emem Alban put smiles on the face of a Widow, Mrs Agatha Etim Okon, an indigene of Nung Ikono Obio Village in Uruan Local Government Area by donating a well furnished two bedroom apartments to mark his 44th birthday anniversary.

Mr Alban also used the occasion to rehabilitate the moribund borehole that was donated in 2006 by the Government of Akwa Ibom State which has been abandoned for the past 15 years.

The CEO also partnered Uruan Local Government Council in the building of the proposed Model Primary Health Center at Nung Ikono Obio village which he said will be commissioned in six months time.

Speaking during the commissioning, Mr Emem said “celebrating my 2021 birthday at Nung Ikono Obio has given me the privilege to identify with my people’s need. The water we have commissioned today will be of great service to Nung Ikono Obio people”

” I am happy to partner with my brother, Hon. (Surv) Iniobong Ekpenyong in bringing health care services closer to our community. This health center unlike others in Uruan Local Government Area will have the services of a medical Doctor when commissioned” he proposed.

Also speaking during the ground breaking ceremony of the model Health center , the Executive Chairman of Uruan, Hon. (Surv) Iniobong Ekpenyong thanked the village council for donating a land for the building of the health centre and appreciated the CEO of Pipminds International Limited for his kind gesture and partnership.

He furthered that the health center when completed will be a source of employment to the people of the area and as well as a quick run – to in urgent health situations by members of Nung Ikono Obio community and its environs.

The village head of Nung Ikono Obio, Etidung Chrisantus Nyong speaking on behalf of the village said ” Emem is a blessing to Nung Ikono Obio. This health center is like a dream. Soon our children will be employed to work here.”

Also speaking, the Chairman, Nung Ikono Obio village Council, Ukai Patrick and Elder Blessing Okon, Youth President respectively thanked Pipminds CEO and the Chairman of Uruan Local Government Area for the projects and described them as worthy sons of Nung Ikono Obio village.
