In a bid to alleviate the suffering of the masses caused by the economic downturn in the country, the Transition Chairman of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, Hon. Dcns. Oto Aaron has extended her monthly cash support scheme to 110 grassroots leaders in the area.
The scheme, which covers ten persons from each of the eleven wards in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, aims to boost the income and livelihood of the beneficiaries selected from the local communities across the area.
The scheme is a generous initiative by Hon. Aaron, who has been providing cash support every month since August 2023 without interruption. The chairman said the scheme is part of her efforts to fulfill her inauguration promises and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Nsit Ibom.
