The maiden newspaper of Local Government Information Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalist Christened News 31, Is billed to be rolled out for public consumption on March 12, 2021.
News 31 which is characterized to preserve reality promises to become the Chief medium to reachthe hitherto unreached rural dwellers in a two-way approach of taking government to the people and bringing the rural people to the government;
News 31 will also fill the existing information gap, where most conventional newspapers and other media of mass communication find it less lucrative to publish concerning the rural areas;
News31 will also provide a platform to harness enormous writing potentials of the LGSC Staff, especially the Information Officers in the different Local Government Councils of Akwa Ibom State.
