No fewer than Forty two beneficiaries drawn from different Local Government Areas in Akwa Ibom State have benefited from the phase 111 Less Privilege Skill Acquisition Project(LEPSAP) and Best Students Scholarship Award (BESSA) of Wisemen Evangelical Ministries AKA Heaven Brightright Evangelists.
Under the Wisemen Christian Foundation arm of the Church, this year’s empowerment is the 3rd in the series since the empowerment was lunched in 2006 at The Apostolic Church, Ikot Obio Atai Area Headquarters.
The Visionary President of Wisemen Evangelical Ministries , Pastor Israel Johnson (CNA) said the idea behind the foundation is to attain to vital humanitarian needs through compassion services and to assist in education of youth through BESSA.
In his address, the Secretary General of the ministry, Evang. Godwin Akang said “the ministry through the foundation is set to nuture the life of potential youths for employment through the Wisemen Investment Projects, and also conduct Wisemen conferences and empower them through (LESPIL) programme especially Christian based entrepreneurs”
The highpoint of the event was the presentation of different empowerment packages to the beneficiaries by the visionary Pastor Israel Jackson, and wife Deaconess Mrs. Goodness Johnson.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Sister Abigail Jackson thanked the Church for the empowerment .
